Our Story

Times Perfumes — Bring Back Memories

Founded by Mr. Ali Momin, Times Perfumes is built on a love for fragrance that has been passed down through generations.

For us, perfume has never been just a scent. It is a memory. A place. A person. A moment in time.

Our story began in 1974 in Dholka, Gujarat, India, when Ali’s father, Mahammad Ali, started a small home-based fragrance business with his younger brother, Akbar Ali. Their passion was inspired by their father, Karim Bhai, who had a deep love for traditional attars and the art of perfumery.

Life was not always easy, and the family business remained small for many years. But the passion for fragrance stayed alive.

In 2007, that passion found a new beginning through Ali’s sister, Shabnam, who was living in Dubai. From her home in Satwa, she began sharing and selling traditional perfume oils and attars. Her journey later took her to Houston, USA, where she built two successful perfume stores with her sons, Mujtaba and Mohammed.

Their journey became a constant inspiration for Ali.

In 2019, Ali brought this family passion to Australia and founded Times Perfumes - carrying with him not only a love for fragrance, but generations of knowledge, memories and stories.

Today, Times Perfumes continues to grow while staying connected to its roots. From traditional attars to Arabian and modern fragrances, every scent we offer is chosen with one simple belief:
